I imagine what it feels like to be a stone skipping across the surface of the river of time. Driven by an unstoppable force, I feel myself spinning rapidly. One moment, I glance back, catching sight of the splashes and ripples left behind on the water, only to be swiftly pulled forward the next, my body leaping weightlessly toward the vast river. Moving through this rotation, I know neither beginning nor end. Until at last, my body sinks beneath the surface, vanishing entirely into the current. Perhaps only at that moment of submersion do I realise that, from the very beginning, I was merely a pebble of ice, crystallised from the river of time itself.
